How can I pay for tuition? Do you accept childcare assistance contracts?
We accept both private pay and approved childcare assistance contracts. Private pay tuition is due according to your signed agreement, and we offer flexible payment methods (including through ProCare, cash, check, etc.). If you use a contract, all paperwork must be kept up-to-date to avoid interruptions in coverage. Late payments may result in additional fees or suspension of care until resolved.

How do you handle food allergies?
We take allergies very seriously. Our facility is nut-free, and we maintain an updated allergy list in each classroom and our kitchen. We make substitutions for children with allergies whenever possible to ensure their safety during meals and snacks. If your child has a milk allergy, parents will need to provide the milk or milk alternative your child can drink. A doctor’s note is required for all diagnosed allergies so we can document them in your child’s file and follow the appropriate care plan. Please notify us immediately in writing if your child has an allergy so we can update records and take extra precautions.

Can my child take medication while at school?
Yes. All medications must be in their original container with the prescription label. Parents must complete a medication authorization form before we can administer anything. Over-the-counter medications also require parent consent and must be age-appropriate and safe per state guidelines.
What is your sick policy?
Children must be fever-free (lower than a 100.4°F) for 24 hours without medication and free from vomiting or diarrhea before returning. In certain cases, a doctor’s note may be required. Our goal is to keep our school healthy and prevent the spread of illness.
How will I receive updates and important information?
We communicate through ProCare app notifications, classroom newsletters, and social media updates. ProCare is used for daily updates, attendance, and urgent alerts. Email is used for longer updates and event reminders, while social media helps keep you informed of special activities, celebrations or closures.
What curriculum do you use?
Our curriculum is play-based and developmentally appropriate, focusing on literacy, math, science, art, and social-emotional learning. We use hands-on activities, music, movement, and small group learning to prepare children for success in school. Pre-K classrooms follow state readiness guidelines to ensure kindergarten preparedness.
What age does my child need to be to join NM Early PreK/PreK?
To enroll your child in our Early PreK and PreK program, your children must be 3 years old by August 31st for Early PreK and 4 years old by August 31st for our Pre-K program. This ensures they are developmentally ready and aligned with the public school system’s cutoff date.
Do you provide transportation?
At this time, we do not offer transportation. Parents are responsible for drop-off and pick-up.
How do you keep children safe and secure?

Our campuses are fully gated with locked entry doors. Each visitor is screening before entering the building, and all visitors must sign in and wear a badge. Security cameras are placed throughout the premises. We conduct monthly fire drills and regular lockdown so staff and children know what to do in an emergency.
What is your discipline policy?
We believe in positive guidance to teach children self-control, problem-solving, and respect for others. We use redirection, positive reinforcement, and natural consequences. Physical punishment, humiliation, or shaming are never used.
What should my child bring each day?

Please send:
-
An extra set of weather-appropriate clothes (labeled)
-
Diapers/pull-ups and wipes (if needed)
-
A labeled water bottle
-
Any comfort item for nap time (small blanket, stuffed animal)
How can parents get involved?
We welcome parents to volunteer in classrooms, help with events, read to children, or help clean the classroom. Family engagement is a big part of our community.
Do you offer resources for child development or behavioral concerns?
Yes. We provide parent teacher conferences, articles, and tips for parents. If needed, we can refer families to local specialists for speech, occupational, or behavioral therapy.
What qualifications do your teachers have?
All teachers pass state and federal background checks and maintain CPR/First Aid certifications. Staff complete continuous professional development hours each year, and we encourage ongoing education in early childhood development.
Do you offer a sibling discount?
No, at this time we don't offer any sibling discount.
How do you celebrate birthdays and holidays?
We love celebrating! Parents may bring store-bought treats with ingredient labels to ensure allergy safety. Please coordinate with your child’s teacher ahead of time.
What happens if my child is injured at school?
Staff will administer first aid and complete an incident report. For minor bumps and scrapes, you’ll be informed at pick-up. For serious injuries, you will be contacted immediately.
What enrichment activities do you offer?
Our classrooms use Promethean interactive boards for engaging lessons and offer STEAM/STEM projects to build problem-solving and creativity. Enrichment activities include science experiments, art exploration, music, and movement.
